This product is an isolated industrial interface expansion board specifically designed for Raspberry Pi 4B and Raspberry Pi 5. This industrial expansion board provides multiple industrial communication interfaces for the Raspberry Pi: 2 RS485, 1 RS232, 1 CAN FD, and 1 CAN, each with electrical isolation protection. On-board lightning protection, anti-static, and other protective measures ensure safer and more reliable communication. It also comes with a customized industrial rail housing, making it easy to integrate in industrial control applications. For the Raspberry Pi 5, a PCIe expansion board interface is reserved for users to further expand functionality. There is also ample space inside the housing to support user-defined stacking and expansion. This expansion board not only enables better integration of the Raspberry Pi into industrial control applications but also provides possibilities for future expansion.

Based on the Raspberry Pi 40pin GPIO interface, it is suitable for both Raspberry Pi 4B and Raspberry Pi 5

Using the combination of SC16IS752 and SP485, two RS485 channels can be extended through the SPI interface

Using the combination of MCP2515 and SN65HVD230, one CAN channel can be extended through the SPI interface

Using a combination of MCP2518FD and MCP2562FD, one CAN FD channel can be extended through the SPI interface

Using the combination of Raspberry UART and SP3232EEN, an additional RS232 channel can be extended through the UART interface

On-board TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) can effectively suppress surge voltage and transient spike voltage in the circuit, providing lightning protection and anti-static protection

Equipped with on-board self-resetting fuses and protective diodes, it ensures stable current and voltage output, protects against overcurrent and overvoltage, and enhances shock resistance

The on-board integrated power isolation ensures stable current and voltage output for RS232, RS485, CAN, and CAN FD without requiring additional power supply at the isolation terminal, thereby enhancing anti-interference and shock resistance

Equipped with an on-board digital isolation chip, signal isolation communication is safer, more stable, and more resistant to interference

Powered by on-board external wiring terminals, it supports a wide voltage range of 7~36V and can be combined with the Pi5 Connector Adapter (B) to simultaneously power both the Raspberry Pi and the expansion board

On-board 120Ω terminal resistor, which can be enabled through jumper cap setting

Reserved interrupt resistance pads allow for flexible switching of interrupt pins to prevent specific occupancy
