Product features
The dual-serial device data collector/IoT gateway, specifically designed for industrial applications, achieves simultaneous operation of one RS232 and one RS485 serial ports through a single network cable, without interference between them. It integrates multiple functions such as serial server, Modbus gateway, MQTT gateway, and RS232 and RS485 to JSON conversion. Additionally, it provides an additional Ethernet interface that can be used as a switch or for cascading. The dual-port version is available with or without PoE* function. The power interface adopts two methods: an outer diameter of 5.5mm and an inner diameter of 2.1mm, as well as terminal blocks. The din-rail housing design is compact, easy to install, and cost-effective, making it suitable for data collection, IoT gateway, security IoT, and intelligent instrument monitoring applications.
*PoE: It is a Power over Ethernet (PoE) device (PD), which requires access to PoE for power supply to obtain power from the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) and function properly.
